“The Intercontinental race was a huge deal for me because I felt like it put me in a position to keep moving up the map,” added Rhodes.

“I think if I were to have the IC title now, I would be less interested in my own selfish ascent of the card and more putting the Intercontinental title on a pedestal… I think I could do wonders for that.

“My goal is the WWE Championship but there are a lot of roads to get there. No pun intended.

“If it comes down to the Intercontinental title, I would be more than proud to win one of the most prestigious championships in the industry.”

– Sonya Deville, speaking to Sportskeeda, outlines her plans for Pride Month; WWE’s involvement and the future.

“WWE – for the first time ever – will be participating in the Los Angeles Pride Parade. I have my own float or vehicle so I will be representing. I’m so excited! Hopefully I’ll see some of the WWE Universe there. But we’re really, really excited because obviously LA Pride is one of the biggest parades in Pride, so I think it’s a really big deal that we’ll be there representing. We’re going to have merchandising exclusive to Pride which I don’t know yet if I’m allowed to say it, but I just did. We’re going to have some great cool things. I’m really excited!”
