Bret Michaels invites Poison Cover Band to play with him

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so cover bands really are a huge compliment to the acts they imitate. Bret Michaels was so impressed with Poison’s cover band Shot of Poison that he invited them to perform on stage with him.

Shot of Poison is made up of Fret Michaels, BB SeVille, Kenny Rockkit and Bobby Dollface, and they have featured on this season of the E! series The shock of the cover bands. Last night (December 1), the band faced off against a cover band of Depeche Mode.

“To my good friends in Shot of Poison, this is your mate Bret Michaels,” the singer said in a video on E!‘s Twitter yesterday. “First of all, I want to wish you the best tonight. I know you face stiff competition, but I know you always bring it.

The singer then offered them a unique opportunity.

“This is my gift to you – I just want to say for all your hard work and dedication to making a Poison show amazing and everything you do, I want to invite you to join me on stage, okay?” “

Sadly, Shot of Poison lost the round, but they still win otherwise. Michaels’ invitation is to join him on his solo run dubbed the Nothin ‘But a Good Vibe Tour, where they will perform “Nothin ‘But a Good Time” together.
